Assistance for Senior Patients

The Patient Assistance Company provides a patient service to file pharmaceutical companies Patient Assistance Program forms. The service is designed for medical offices that do not wish to operate the PAPrx internally, this is typically a general medical practice with a large Medicare population.  The patient is billed directly for form filing services before PAP forms are submitted to the pharmaceutical companies  

ElderMeds uses the PAPrx software used in non-profit medical offices to provide form filing services.  They help us insure that PAPrx is up-to-date immediately with any PAP changes.

The ElderMeds Process:

• ElderMeds provides participating medical offices with mailing labels and patient information forms.

• The patient fills out the ElderMeds application form and sends it to the ElderMed office, thereby requesting our services.   We are then authorized to process the medical information provided.

• ElderMeds prepares all documents and return them for patient and physician signatures with a return addressed envelope.
• When the documents are returned to us with required signatures ElderMeds sends them to the PAP programs and sees that pharmaceutical companies process them.
• ElderMeds charges the patient a uniform fee for document handling.

Our staff will provide fast and effective service. We will process your paperwork and locate your prescriptions immediately upon receiving your service fee.  We will keep patient information confidential. If your doctor is not familiar with the Patient Prescription Service we will explain the program.   We will do everything to make sure you get the prescriptions your doctor writes.  Our main concern is the patient.
